This perennial is always a late summer delight and these blooms started popping this week. Each year they spread a bit more. A very hardy perennial that does beautifully in the heat of the summer and in my experience they will bloom for 6-8 weeks, providing a lovely punch of color to our garden.

So pretty. Don’t think I’ve seen this flower before.
And you just missed them, a week after your visit. You’ll just have to come back!
Wow! These are beautiful! Your garden is great. I don’t have a whole lot of flowers this year, but the tomatoes, other veggies, apples and plums make up for it.
Thank you. We have cherry and grape tomatoes from last year’s plants, coming up volunteers and they are going crazy! And the herb garden. Wish I had room for more veggies but stepson and daughter-in-law have huge gardens and share!
How pretty! I love that the bee photobombed the picture!! Beautiful color…
Thanks Deb! I didn’t see the bee at the moment I took the pic, imagine my surprise…..I appreciate you stopping by to check out the blog. 😊
