As we shiver through record cold temperatures, I came across pictures I’ve taken in winters past. This spectacular ice storm took place in December 2013. I took these while walking around my own yard, the ice glittering as the sun rose, like a fairy land. Remembering that winter, reminds me that even in our coldest season, Michigan is beautiful.
