59 Candles, 59 Things – Part Thirteen

Twenty First thing: Fondue is a happy thing for me. It’s a dining experience whether we’re out for a special occasion or making it at home. Relaxed, delicious, romantic – it’s all good.

I first was introduced to fondue when my family and I attended Expo ’67 in Montreal Canada. With the world represented, I recall going to a Swiss Fondue Restaurant that rocked my world. Even my sister (a very picky eater, especially as a child) was in awe. It was the beginning of a love affair for me that lasts to this day; see below for the link my fondue recipe.

A favorite restaurant of ours is The Melting Pot; I belong to Club Fondue. As a club member, I get an email for six free chocolate dipped strawberries during the month of my birthday. I’m in!
