Living the Dream in Retirement
After a week of sun and hot temps, my garden transitioned again as Zinnias, Lillies, Snapdragons and Hostas have burst into full bloom. Even between the bricks in my lower patio determined flowers are emerging, including the Snapdragon below.
After the hottest week this summer (and virtually no rain) these beauties are prevailing.
Last year, these lilies appeared at the very edge of a well-established perennial bed in my “garden oasis”. The mystery – I never planted them. I’m not sure what they’re called or how they got there!
