For a foodie, cruise food is always a treat and this trip was no exception. From hearty breakfasts to salads, appetizers and dinners, the offerings were beautifully plated and delicious while the desserts were decadent and (almost) too pretty to eat.
It’s difficult to choose the “best of the best” photos from my cruise but I did it! The sea is ever-changing from daybreak to sunset, at sea and in ports. It’s magical.

Back from my latest cruise, this time New England (Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor) to Halifax. Sailing on the Enchanted Princess was special, it was the ship I took my first-ever cruise on earlier this year.

Most mornings I woke up just before dawn, made my tea and took a seat on my balcony, waiting to capture sunrises. It was so serene, what a way to start the day!
As you can see from the following photos the Enchanted Princess does dinners that are delectable from starters and salads to entrees.

We set sail at the end of March for a 10 day Caribbean voyage out of the Ft Lauderdale port. My traveling shipmates were my sister and brother-in-law who have cruised extensively and were my mentors from booking last fall through our final disembarkation. Their knowledge and experience made my cruise so much more enjoyable.
And we’re off!
The Enchanted Princess is a gorgeous ship. Not long after boarding, our bags arrived at our staterooms. We had upgraded to Reserve Collection Mini-Suites and I loved everything about my cabin – especially the awesome, deep bathtub – I did not expect that!
