Biscotti has taken to sleeping in the pantry, opening the French Doors with the old “under the door paw maneuver”. Sometimes, like in this picture, he claims to “need a timeout ” – but I suspect he just likes it in there.

Living the Dream in Retirement
Sometimes we all need a little time to ourselves. Baby Girl calls it “self-care” and says it “recharges our batteries.” I don’t know about Biscotti, but I’m pretty sure I don’t have any batteries. It’s still nice, though.
Carol I’m so glad you explained that to me – makes sense. It seems after our kitchen remodel that he called “dibs” on that pantry and it’s become his happy place. I think all the playing with his brother requires a bit of “me time”. I’ll share Baby Girl’s observation about self-care with him, he thinks she’s very smart. His brother Tipper prefers to “chill” in his cat cave when he needs a break…..
