Living the Dream in Retirement

When traveling I love to enjoy great food, beautifully presented. The Sun Princess was a foodie’s dream and these are photos a few of the many delicious meals I had over my recent two week cruise.

I recently completed another cruise, this time two weeks on the newest ship in the Princess fleet, the Sun Princess. It’s a beautiful ship and is massive in size. Lots of walking onboard and off ship at several new ports plus revisiting St Thomas. Here are some of my favorite photos from sailing out of Ft Lauderdale to Mahogany Bay in Honduras, to Cozumel, Puerto Rico and St Thomas. More posts will follow, stay tuned.

I love to wake up before sunrise on a cruise, especially when I’m able to capture photos like these as we approach New York City where this journey ends.

These photos were taken (with no filters) on September 18th from 8:34 – 9:28 p.m. as the moon rose over the ocean. It was magical to witness this from my balcony. Very zen.

Photos are from our excursion to Peggy’s Cove where the scenery was captivating as was this small yet charming fishing village. I love the last photo of this lone bagpiper who was playing during our visit there.

Photos are from my recent cruise and include scenes from Newport, Boston and Bar Harbor.

These sunrise photos were taken between 6:15 a.m. and 6:58 a.m. from my balcony while sailing the east coast. It was spectacular and one of my favorite things to experience while cruising.

It’s impossible for me to pass by natural beauty and not photograph it and so it was while off-ship on my New England/Halifax cruise.

Back from my latest cruise, this time New England (Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor) to Halifax. Sailing on the Enchanted Princess was special, it was the ship I took my first-ever cruise on earlier this year.

Stay tuned for more on this trip…..
