Jill Barth liked my previous post about loving wine which allowed me to discover her fabulous blog, L’occasion. OMG! So glad I did and I hope you’ll check it out as well. This post, featuring a new vineyard in Michigan, was so interesting and is now on my list for summer 2016! I had to reblog it to share with my followers, enjoy and cheers!
In addition to being a writer, I’m also a certified Yoga instructor. Recently I discovered that a wine estate in Southwest Michigan, Dablon Vineyards, hosts a gorgeous Yoga session + brunch in their calm and comfortable tasting room. Laura Gelder, Tasting Room and Wine Club Manager, gave me the details of this morning event that is becoming a tradition for folks near Baroda and visitors to Southwest Michigan wine country.
Dablon’s tasting room is stunning, lots of natural light and rustic materials. This makes for a lovely cocoon for a morning of Yoga and brunch. Visitors can enjoy a sip at the granite tasting bar, but the fire or on the patio overlooking the vineyards (try that in summer, Michigan winters can be nippy). The tasting room also offers a view of the production area, an opportunity to glimpse the winemakers Rudy Schafer and Chad Hartline working with their team.
