This is too funny! My friend and I just got done running around my apartment in fear of a “spider” that was on my sweatshirt. Turned out to just be a tiny wad of hair! But I did get some workout in! 😀

It reminds me of a time many years ago when I asked my first husband (who was quite the macho guy – or so I’d thought) to kill a spider that had me cornered. Instead, he grabbed the car keys and said “let’s go to a movie”. Of course, the spider moved but was still in our apartment. This happened about 3 times until I realized he was a big wuss and more afraid than I was (plus we ended up seeing the same movie everytime – weird). I had to learn to arm myself with a big wad of paper towels and a rolled up magazine and become my own “spider eliminator”. Got rid of him shortly after that, though it wasn’t mentioned in the divorce documents. My current husband, a decorated Army Veteran, is always there for spider killing. Don’t think I didn’t make sure before I married him.
